500 Reichsmark Bond from the State Bank of Prussia - 1937 EF + (Note the bond serial number - only the 42nd Bond made of this run!) Translation of this bond is in the third picture. Kindly provided by a client. This extremely rare and lovely piece is an enormous, (A4 sized) multi-color bond in the extraordinary denomination of 500 Marks. It is exquisitely engraved in lime green, peach and pink with bold fancy Gothic script and 9 signatures. At the bottom left is the German Swastika National symbol attached to a Reich Eagle, all in red. Stunning watermarks cover the entire piece! Almost mint condition with 1 neat tiny punch-hole which canceled the note. Printed by the Reich's Bureau of Printing and Engraving in Berlin. The money raised was used to fund the German war machine that was to envelope the world. 100 % genuine item!
